On International Coffee Day, we brew culture, community, and new opportunities

On International Coffee Day, we celebrate coffee not just as a beverage, but as a driver of growth, community, and opportunity across our markets. Coffee is central to our ambition to be the leading 24/7 Beverage Partner, powered by the expertise, passion, and dedication of our people.

Coca-Cola HBC celebrates the International Coffee Day.

Every year on October 1st, coffee lovers around the world unite to celebrate International Coffee Day, a tribute to the drink that fuels our mornings, sparks conversations, and connects cultures. This global fest recognizes the cultural, economic, and social significance of one of the world’s most traded commodities.

This year, CCHBC’s coffee experts delivered thousands of training courses for both our teams and for our customers, hosted tastings to showcase our brands, and expanded into new markets. Beyond business, community initiatives like "Women in Coffee" in Hungary and the "Barmasters Empowered" project in Romania are opening doors for coffee talent and shaping local café culture.

For us, every day is an International Coffee Day!

We’re proud to bring coffee onto the global stage. From the Caffè Vergnano World Cup finals this October, celebrating passion and excellence in every brew, to exciting new partnerships for Costa Coffee in iconic locations across our markets that showcase innovation, quality, and connection.

At CCHBC, we view this day as more than a celebration; it’s a tribute to artistry, dedication, and our vibrant community that make every cup of coffee a shared global experience.

Today and every day, we raise a cup for our teams, our partners, and the shared future we are brewing together.
