An extraordinary team that achieves the tops

Michał, Alexander, Grzesiek, Bogdan, Dariusz, Michal and Łukasz are an exceptional example of what true team spirit looks like. They were brought together by the Company, but their shared passion - mountaineering - cemented their friendship.

Every year they conquer different peaks in Europe, setting the bar higher and higher for themselves. In 2022 they overcame the next barrier, climbing the Italian peak of Gran Paradiso (4061 m).

Organization is all about people. We are the ones who create it, having an impact on how we function and what the organizational culture looks like. It is through the organization that we establish new relationships, make friends, discover new skills by learning from others.

Michał Warmuziński Channel Marketing Manager

I started my adventure with Coca-Cola HBC in 2008 from the position of Business Developer FC. At the time, my main responsibilities were to support client business in a specific area in Poland.

Currently I am working as a Channel Marketing Manager. Together with a team of 6 people, we create and implement marketing strategy for the development of the Out Of Home channel.

I spend my spare time mainly with my family. I have two wonderful sons 6-years-old Kuba and 3-years-old Adam, with whom I often play soccer. I also try to find some time for myself. If I manage to do so, I read books and ride my bike.

Łukasz-Gryglewski-700x700

I firmly believe that patience, perseverance and sweat create an unbeatable combination for success, as Napoleon Bonaparte used to say. I apply this motto both in my personal and business life.

Łukasz Gryglewski Senior Business Developer

I have been working at Coca-Cola HBC since 2017. My first position in the organization was a so-called Backup. At that time, I was employed by the external company and helped Business Developers. Thanks to this experience, over time I took a position as a Junior Business Developer in the FC department, and currently I work as a Senior Business Developer. I am responsible for acquiring new customers and maintaining good relations with existing ones.

I’m interested in sports: mountain climbing, running, soccer, skiing. I also love traveling to new places and international cuisine.

Darek-Guzowski-700x700

The team is undoubtedly the most important element of mountain expeditions! Mutual support, motivation, help on the trail, but also humor make such expeditions magical.

Dariusz Guzowski Regional Sales Manager At Home

My life’s adventure in Coca-Cola HBC began in 1999 from the position of Business Developer. Afterwards I took the position of Area Sales Manager, Branch Manager in Plock, Sales Center Manager in Łodź, to my current role of Regional Sales Manager At Home.

I greatly appreciate working with people and spending time together, and I love physical activity. In particular, running, cycling and mountain hiking. I'm undoubtedly a crazy person, initiating many joint projects.  My motto is "there is a timing - there is an expedition”.

Grzegorz-Wątróbski-700x700

Climbing has been and continues to be a great challenge for me, an opportunity to test myself and a lesson of humility that we all need from time to time.

Grzegorz Wątróbski Regional Sales Manager Out Of Home

I started my work in the Company in 2000 as a Merchandiser. Quite quickly because after just 6 months I took the position of Business Developer. Currently I work as Regional Sales Manager Out Of Home, together with a team of almost 40 people we provide the highest quality service to HoReCa customers in the Northern Region.

While traveling is undoubtedly my great passion, it is not the only one. I also love running in the woods, cycling, and in the winter season – ice swimming.

Start of the trail

Łukasz: During frequent conversations at work we realized that we share a common passion for running and alpine tourism. We used to meet very often after work to run together. While running, a great idea was born, to go on a trip together to the mountains to climb the highest peak in the Tatra Mountains. The idea very quickly moved to the implementation.

Michał: It was 2019 when we first climbed Rysy (2501 m n.p.m.) together. The expedition caused that we completely fell in love with such activity. It was the beginning of a great adventure. Common goals, planning, preparation, and finally expeditions are the elements that cemented the team together. We started climbing every year, and the bar was set higher and higher. The next peak was Zugspitze (2962 m n.p.m.), then Toffana Di Mezzo (3244 m n.p.m.), until in 2022 we climbed Gran Paradiso (4061 m n.p.m.). Our story and photos began to be known within the company. It's a great fun to talk about passion and share it with others. The best part is that the team is becoming stronger, and this is certainly not our last word.

Motivation to take another step

Darek: I love challenges and overcoming my limitations. In the mountains, the higher you go, the stronger the adrenaline and excitement are, and that's fueling a tremendous sense of satisfaction. Of course, the level of exhaustion also increases along with the altitude, however it is accompanied by a great sense of achievement and excitement. I'm still not a climbing expert, however from my experience, the key to success is physical condition and prudence. It's all about not taking unnecessary risks and planning the trip accordingly.

Grzegorz: The expedition to Gran Paradiso was my first trip to such high mountains, and I eagerly awaited the day of departure. Climbing used to be and still is a great challenge for me, an opportunity to test myself and a lesson of humility, which we all need from time to time. The expedition is also a great opportunity to get to know each other better, build strong relationships beyond those professional ones, and a lesson of teamwork. Without mutual trust and support, there are no chances for success. I am already looking forward to the next trip.

Reaching the top - also professionally

Michał: The organization is all about people. We are the ones who create it, having an impact on how we function and what the organizational culture looks like. It is through the organization that we establish new relationships, make friends, discover new skills by learning from others. It is thanks to the organization that we had the chance to get to know each other better and create such a cross-functional team, pursuing a common passion. Both at work and on the trail, we know that everyone can count on each other and trust each other in the most difficult moments.

Darek: I have been working in sales most of my life.  In this industry, the dynamics of change is super intense (almost like the weather in the mountains 😉 ). Therefore, you need to be, likewise on the trail, in a very good shape to follow the business challenges. Moreover, the team is unquestionably the most important element of mountain expeditions. Regardless of whether we’re climbing or pursuing business goals, mutual support, motivation, assistance, but also humor is at a premium.
