€2.3 million donations to help local communities recover after wildfires and floods

Coca-Cola HBC Foundation is extending vital support to communities hit by recent natural disasters, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to recovery and resilience.

The Coca-Cola HBC Foundation has announced donations totalling €2.3 million to help local communities recover after devastating wildfires and floods.

The donations will support local communities in the following ways:

• Restoring native forests in areas affected by the wildfires in Greece and Cyprus
• Equipping and training volunteer firefighters to boost local capacity and strengthen community resilience in Bulgaria
• Supporting flood-affected families from Suceava county in Romania through relief, recovery, and resilience interventions to restore shelter and reduce future risk

The Coca-Cola HBC Foundation is dedicated to supporting the communities in which the company operates, building on its long-standing tradition of community action, led by its people.

Chief Executive Officer Zoran Bogdanovic says: “We are always ready to stand by and support the communities we operate in. The donations from The Coca-Cola HBC Foundation will help communities as they recover from these devastating climate-related events. They continue our strong legacy of contributing to communities in a practical way that makes a difference.”

How our local teams supported the immediate response

• In Greece, our teams on the ground quickly provided more than 82,000 litres of product to the Hellenic Fire Service, local Municipalities and NGOs.
• In Cyprus, the aftermath of a devastating wildfire in rural Limassol area 23 July 2025 left widespread destruction across 23 villages. On the day of the fire, we provided more than 3,000 litres of water to personnel of the Cyprus Fire Brigade.
• In Serbia, in partnership with Bambi, we donated 43,000 litres of beverages and 500 kg of Plazma products to help local residents and rescue teams on the ground.
• In Montenegro, we partnered with the Red Cross of Montenegro to provide nearly 6,500 litres of our beverages for those in need, along with an immediate direct donation to local firefighters.
• In Bulgaria, we supported volunteers battling wildfires in the Haskovo and Tran regions by donating more than 1,000 litres of mineral water. We also partnered with the Bulgarian Red Cross and Sofia Municipality to provide more than 1,000 litres of water to residents during the hottest summer days.
