Results for the first quarter ended 30 March 2012 (IFRS) Dimitris Lois, Chief Executive Officer of Coca-Cola Hellenic, commented:"We managed to deliver revenue growth ahead of volume performance amidst a challenging external environment, with currency neutral net sales revenue per unit case growth of 3%, excluding the hyperinflation impact of Belarus. We also continued to win in the marketplace, growing or maintaining our market position in most of our markets, with Trademark Coca-Cola products growing in all three reporting segments."

The "Safe Water for Africa" partnership

The Nigerian Bottling Company signed The Safe Water for Africa (SWA) partnership launched on 19 March as a World Water Day commitment of its partners. SWA is a unique private sector collaboration that has raised more than US$2.5 million to provide sustainable access to safe drinking water in Nigeria, and an additional of $2.3 million in Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The target of the programme is to provide sustainable access to potable water for 5 million Africans by 2015. Read more |
Coca-Cola Hellenic included in Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes for fourth consecutive year
Coca-Cola Hellenic is one of only three beverage companies worldwide to merit a place on the DJSI World index, and one of just two to make it into the DJSI Europe index. It is also the only Greek company included in either index. Coca-Cola Hellenic received top scores for the beverage industry in nine assessment categories including perfect marks in Environmental Policy/Management Systems and Packaging. Read more

Coca-Cola Hellenic operations in Nigeria and Romania address global water issues on the occasion of World Water Day 2012. This year’s World Water Day theme focuses on water and food security.
Coca-Cola Hellenic in Nigeria hosted 200 agro-entrepreneurs and community leaders at six of its plants to reflect the importance of water in food production as part of its annual Water Ambassador Programme. Coca-Cola Hellenic in Romania launched a water bank project as part of the company’s online CSR platform to raise awareness on global water issues. Read more
